Kampung Rambutan Bus Terminal Prepares Parking for Grand Mass

The Kampung Rambutan Bus Terminal starts to improve the condition related to Grand Mass held at Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) Stadium, Thursday (9/5). This terminal is one of the pick-up and drop-off points for thousands of Catholics who will attend the mass.

There are two departure points in East Jakarta, namely Kampung Rambutan Bus Terminal that will departure 100 buses and at PT Transjakarta office that will departure 200 buses.

Transportation Agency Provides Parking Areas for Mass at GBK

The Grand Mass will be led by the Supreme Leader of the World Catholic Church, Pope Francis, and will be attended by around 86,000 Catholics from various regions in Indonesia.

Jakarta Transportation Agency's Terminal Management Unit Division Head, Yusrizalsyah, stated his side has prepared a parking area to accommodate the arrival of thousands of Catholic congregations from various regions.

They come by bus and arrive at Kampung Rambutan Terminal, and then will be taken by another bus.

"We estimate thousands of congregations from various regions will arrive at the terminal from 9 AM to 3 PM tomorrow," he added

His side also has cooperated with Metro Jaya Police and Kodam Jaya to secure the congregation.

"The number of personnel is still being discussed," he stated.
